Working in the field sales team, you will develop the existing territory and increase market share by selling the widest range of high quality Compressed Air & Industrial Gas Equipment, in the South East Midlands area of England. You will be fully remote and reports to the Sales Director

The role...

  • Promote the business locally and support the Sales Director in achieving sales, as well as development of the customer base.
  • Prepare proposals, including the calculation of sales prices to achieve sales. Support sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Support sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers.
  • Good communication and collaboration within the region is key to the success of the whole team.
  • Ensure that an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.
  • Effective provision of sales data, including the recording of visit and action reports (including lost order reports) and analysis of sales performance against budget.

To succeed, you will need ...

  • Sales experience selling capital equipment – although this is not essential. Open to all ages, would consider a Junior or Graduate if the right attitude and application is demonstrated.
  • A technical background or qualification – although this is not essential. If you have a good sales background, positive attitude and willingness to learn, we can teach you the rest!
  • Experience or knowledge of the compressed air industry
  • A full UK driving licence - this is a field-based role and you will travel daily across your region
  • Excellent IT skills, and ability to learn new systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
